Lifestyle changes can improve your current physical and mental health, reduce your change of certain preventable chronic illnesses, and preserve life longevity and satisfaction.  There is a metabolic health crisis going on today.  88% of Americans are metabolically unhealthy and 60% of people die due to preventable chronic diseases. There is always room for lifestyle improvements even if you are not sick! What you do every day counts…the foods you eat, how much sleep you get, how much you move, how you deal with stress, your relationships, all have profound impacts on your long-term health. No one wants to end up with dementia or other chronic conditions, especially since they are largely preventable!

Pregnancy health. Are you thinking about starting a family, or are currently pregnant, and want to optimize your nutrition, reduce stress, and decrease toxin exposure to your baby? I can help co-create a plan to keep you on track for your goal of a healthy pregnancy (and beyond!). Do you have gestational diabetes or other complications in pregnancy?  I can work with you on a plan to optimize your health during this time.

There are many reasons besides overeating that can make it difficult to lose weight: nutritional imbalances, gut microbiome imbalances, inflammation, hormone imbalances, environmental toxins, lack of sleep, stress, to name a few. We will explore the lifestyle factors that might be keeping you from a healthy weight, and create a realistic plan to shed the weight for good.

Brain health. Lifestyle choices are critical to your brain’s destiny. It’s never too late to start paying attention to these choices now!
